Salvadoran Foundation for Integrated Education (FEDISAL) is a private non-profit institution, founded in 1992 by leading businessmen and members of the Salesian Community of El Salvador, with the objective of supporting sustainable development through human capital development. It has its own legal personality and thanks to twenty years of experience in design and project management, financial strength and has prestige in the public and private sectors, as well as many national and international collaborators.

 

The central role of management FEDISAL is framed in public policy programs, functions mainly observing second floor. The main areas of work are FEDISAL:

• Scholarships for higher management at national and international level education, vocational guidance, vocational and labor; curriculum design;
• Educational counseling and advice to entrepreneurs; analysis of labor market from the perspective of education.

 

Other institutional competencies include consulting on various issues of our areas of expertise and institutional strengthening, mainly Salesian institutions. Other institutional competencies include consulting and training or strengthening other institutions.

 

Activities

Project Management

Since the phase of design, management and administration, FEDISAL has gained extensive experience in the development of social projects, primarily the education sector microenterprises. The Foundation has developed projects for important national institutions as well as international organizations.

 

Consulting

In the consulting field has been significant work for different institutions, among which we mention: DIGESTYC APREMAT / MOE-EU CONAMYPE, INSAFORP, IPEC-ILO, among others.

 

Training and Technical Assistance

Design, organization and development of regional training centers to Salesian institutions of Central America and Panama, which include regular training events and support calls for discussions with international institutions to analyze successful experiences are also included areas of competence FEDISAL.

 

Studies and Publications

The experience of the technical team FEDISAL in recent years, has been shaped by a variety of studies and publications aimed at both national and international institutions and agencies as well as through publications emanating from themselves know how the institution.
