Supply Chain Management Services for Health for Africa (SAMASHA) was conceived as a realization that within Africa and particularly Uganda there are many NGO/CSO targeting various interventions rather than Health commodities and supplies supply chain management services. There is a disconnect from the national level strengthening programs and district/lower level health care system
SAMASHA established in 2007 to support the health sector both public and private to strengthen their supply chain management systems to ensure constant availability of medicines and supplies at all levels in the system.
SAMASHA provides procurement, forecasting and quantification, Inventory management and Logistics management information services to program, projects in the health sector.
