Created in 1996 by Eusebio Leal Spengler, Historian of Havana, the San Cristóbal Travel Agency commemorates the name of the patron saint of this city, who was venerated as the protector of travelers in the Christian world.
Since its early days the agency specializes in heritage tourism mainly focused on Havana's Historic Center and its strongholds system, iconic buildings and locations which were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1982. The entity's goal is to foster a professional approach garnered around the inmense heritage values of Havana's Historic Center, and extensive to the entire city and other areas of touristic, historic and natural relevance in the country.
At the present, the services of San Cristóbal cover the entire Network of Offices of City Historians and the Curator of Cuba.
