Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation (SACMHF) is a charity which aims to support African and Caribbean people, along with their families who are affected by or recovering from mental ill health.

They also deliver a range of culturally responsive services to support people to recover, become independent and access community resources.

Aims:
To provide a range of culturally responsive services to meet the needs of people who are of African and Caribbean descent and their significant others to promote recovery and well being.

To implement service user involvement within the planning and decision-making processes of the organisation, to ensure inclusion of their perspectives.

To work in partnership with local, regional and national organisations to affect developments in policy and standards to achieve equitable mental health services for the African and Caribbean community

Objectives
Develop and sustain a range of services to provide practical, social, and emotional support and employment opportunities.

To involve service users in strategic and operational meetings.

For the management committee, staff and service users to become engaged in relevant mental health or related networks
