Professional political education
Independent, with a lot of experience and at eye level

Since 2009 the people at Sapere Aude have been promoting independent and professional political education in Austria through various projects with children, young people and adults .

With their activities they want to encourage people who are interested in politics and democracy to develop , critical to be while still constructive to look at the company.

They take up current topics and try out new didactic approaches and approaches .

It is particularly important to them to include socially disadvantaged groups in various projects because they are convinced that in a functioning democracy everyone has a right to participate in politics and society.

They put a lot of attention and energy into the development of their own educational materials (teaching aids, tool kits, brochures, videos) and develop them for others or by other organizations upon request.

They also deal with sensitive and emotional issues , such as extremism, the protection of human rights in a rapidly changing world or current political developments and crises. It is important to them to choose an approach to society and politics that is appropriate to the topic and yet enjoyable and positive.

Sapere Aude works independently, non-profit and purely project-financed. This makes it all the more important for them to have different partnerships in the private and public sectors.
