Sarvam Foundation is a fascinating arts organization based in Delhi and Bengaluru in India and Brisbane in Australia. Sarvam was started by the young and multi-faceted Nehha Bhatnagar at the age of 25. She wanted to create a new dialogue in the performing arts sphere where arts are presented in a more easy to connect way- where they are showcased to thousands of audiences, where new and upcoming talent gets space to showcase their creativity; where established talent gets the publicity they deserve, where slum girls in the grassroots get access to the otherwise elite world of arts!
Sarvam Events were 30 major arts showcases and festivals in India where with the online and offline publicity, it had reached out to lakhs of people across India. Sarvam co-curated the largest performing arts Calendar in the world from 2015-2018. Sarvam organized major Residencies in Bharatanatyam for the past several years to create and mentor new artistes and art organizers. An international photography in the arts exhibition or curation of several cultural evenings for various organizations, Sarvam has helped propagate, promote and preserve Indian performing arts for posterity.
Sarvam Girls is a special project of the Foundation where over 20 young marginalized girls receive free arts education. They learn various forms of Classical Dances, Yoga, Music and Martial Arts according to their area of interest. The girls learn from meritorious Gurus and also receive training in health, hygiene and nutrition. Sarvam girls are cultural Ambassadors of India -they perform for a month every year in Europe, with our partners at Brave Festival. They perform across Delhi at prestigious conferences and media shows. The girls have been interviewed on national and international television for bringing a meaningful change in the lives of their communities.
Sarvam Space are beautiful physical spaces of performing arts, healing and nutrition for the community to help fill the void in the cultural and alternative space. Space Bengaluru and Space Delhi are concepts of creativity and self-actualization.
