Sayangi Tunas Cilik Foundation is a local foundation initiated by local Indonesian staff as partners of Save the Children to help run various programs related to child rights empowerment in Indonesia.
Sayangi Tunas Cilik Foundation was approved as a local foundation based on the decision of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia on May 21, 2014 and began full operation of various work programs and fundraising since May 2015. As a local organization, Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik strives to continue to develop into an independent and financially sustainable organization, and continue to strive to fulfill children's rights in Indonesia.
Throughout 2015, the Sayangi Tunas Cilik Foundation in Indonesia has worked in 11 provinces, 79 districts, 701 subdistricts and 918 villages, and has had a direct impact on 305,458 children and 247,049 adults, and indirectly reached more than 3,600,000 people throughout Indonesia. As partners of Save the Children in Indonesia, they regularly receive capacity development support from Save the Children International experts regarding existing efforts.
Sayangi Tunas Foundation Cilik-partner from Save the Children in Indonesia will continue its partnership with government agencies and relevant ministries from both the central and regional levels. These partnerships include the Ministry of Social Affairs, and close collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, National Disaster Management Agency, and relevant ministries at the regional level .
