SC RAJA SA is the largest regional public operator in Romania in the field of drinking water supply and sewage treatment and serves more than three million beneficiaries in the counties of Constanta, Ialomita, Calarasi, Ilfov, Dambovita, Brasov, Prahova and Bacau .

SC RAJA SA is a founding member of the Romanian Water Association and, at the same time, is a water supply and sewerage service provider in Romania, member of the IWA (International Water Association).

RAJA SA has a peculiarity, compared to similar units in the country due to its proximity to the Black Sea and the unique economic activities in this area: 93% of the water supplied to the beneficiaries is extracted from the underground, which implies high costs generated by the electricity consumption . In addition, RAJA operates 15 sewage treatment plants.
