Currently, SISCA acts as the Secretariat for three SICA policy platforms: the Central American Social Integration Council (CIS), the Central American Council on Housing and Human Settlements (CCVAH), and the Central American Isthmus Council on Sport and Recreation (CODICADER). It also provides support to the Council of Ministers of Labor of Central America and the Dominican Republic (CONMINTRAB).

MISSION: They are the technical body that promotes the coordination of intersectoral social policies among SICA Member States and integration bodies, establishing regional agendas to address common challenges of sustainable development in Central America and the Dominican Republic.

VISION: To serve as a strategic benchmark for the integration process, laying the groundwork for greater convergence of the social policies of SICA Member States.
