SEOR is an independent contract research organisation affiliated to the Erasmus School of Economics of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. SEOR provides services to both public and private sector clients worldwide. Building on scientific principles and objective methods, SEOR combines an independent view with the ability to create practical and workable solutions to its clients. Knowledge, creativity and experience form the basis for our advisory services. SEOR provides research and advisory services in five core areas of expertise: Labour (broadly focusing on employment, labour market and social security issues), Education and Training (education, lifelong learning, vocational training), Health Care (economics of the health care sector, with a strong link to labour market issues), Sectors and Innovation (ranging from sectoral innovation performance, competitiveness analysis and productivity measurement to the monitoring and evaluation of innovation policy strategy), and Regulation (design and implementation of policy instruments; policy effectiveness). SEOR operates world wide for a variety of clients, including the European Commission, the World Bank, regional development banks and representatives of the United Nations.
