History

FROM AN IDEA TO A STRONG GROUP
Having an idea is one thing, but realising it is quite another. It takes immense drive and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, which is what Servistik’s owners, Jan and Karin Elgstrand, have shown throughout their career. They have seen opportunities and developed along the way.

Servistik’s journey began in France during a company visit in the engineering sector. The company had advanced internal logistics from teaming up with an external partner that took responsibility for the logistics. The concept was so simple that the fitter could come to the workplace with his hands in his pockets. Jan saw an opportunity for applying the concept and filling a gap in the Swedish market in the manufacturing industry. Servistik was founded in 2004. The name is a combination of “service” and “logistics”, and this is what the business concept is still based on today.

The business began with its first contract focusing on industry support. The company has enjoyed strong growth and development thanks to new opportunities and focus areas. Servistik has grown from an idea to a group encompassing five companies.
