SHARE conceives MediCiti (International Medical Science City) in 1986. A facility in India, similar to those in U.S.A., which promotes juniors to think and act independently in a creative and competitive environment with appropriate equipment.
SHARE is part of the Rural Telangana (MedChal/Shamirpet) system and is voluntarily funded.
Born in 1981, SHARE pursues a vision of the world in which every man, woman and child has access at all times to the Hospital needed for an active and healthy life. We work towards that vision with our two more nonprofit organizations--SHARE INDIA (SI) and SHARE MEDICAL CARE (SMC) -- as well as government and NGO partners.
SHARE objectives:
SHARE INDIA (Society for Health Allied Research & Education India) was formed and registered in 1986 as a research society and recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation ( SIRO), by Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. Donations are 100% tax-exempt under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income Tax Act.
They have been able to bring significant improvements in the areas of Cancer Prevention, pre-natal and post-natal, pregnancy, Birth control, Awareness and Prevention of Aids, infant Care, IMR, MMR, immunization and so on.
