About

Silk Route Training and Research Organization (SRTRO) is a local non-governmental and not-for-profit organization established by a group of highly qualified Afghan professionals with the aim of improving the socioeconomic situation and guiding policy development through knowledge sharing and research.The main motives behind the creation of SRTRO are to influence policies, evaluate programs, conduct research, and increase the capacity of professionals for making development activities responsive to local needs.

SRTRO has developed a statute for its operation. The statute is the legal document of the organization that defines its objectives, the rights of its members, and the way the organization is governed.
