Simukai Child Protection Program is a registered Private Voluntary Organization established in 2000 as a community response to the plight of orphans and vulnerable children. The organisation operates in all the 7 districts of Manicaland Province with the headquarters being in Mutare District and 3 Satellite Outreach Offices in Chipinge, Rusape and Nyanga towns Simukai seeks to develop children to their full potential and facilitate their transition into productive and responsible members of society. This is achieved through positive engagement with children, their families, the wider community and other relevant stakeholders.

Mission
They intend to facilitate the realisation of the social, physical, psychological and, spiritual needs and rights of vulnerable children and youths through relationship building, care and support with the participation of families and the community.
Strategic Objectives
Objective 1 – Reduce the vulnerability of the children and youths to all forms of abuse and exploitation, sexually transmitted infections, (STIs) including HIV and mitigate the effects of HIV and AIDS on vulnerable children.
Objective 2 – Improve the physical, psychological and spiritual well-being of vulnerable children and youths.
Objective 3 – Ensure access to formal and informal education, training and employment for vulnerable children and youths
Objective 4 – Promote/advocate for the rights of vulnerable children and youths and ensure local community participation
