Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Ltd. is a spin-off of the engineering consultancy business of Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Inc. (SECI) which is a nonprofit organization set up in Taipei in April 1970 under the auspices of a number of government agencies, state-owned enterprises and engineering institutions.
Sinotech was established in January 1993 for taking over SECI’s consulting business and professional technology to carry on the business. The engineering services provided include study, investigation, planning, design, inspection, construction supervision, project management and turnkey contract on electric power, hydraulic, urban development, industrial and agricultural development, and environmental, civil, transportation, architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering projects.
They have over 1,300 technical personnel, most of whom were transferred from SECI with 20-odd years hands-on experience and others recruited from among excellent engineers. Up to date, they have successfully completed more than 4,500 domestic assignments, earning the clients’praise for efficient, high-quality service.
Since 1972, they have been active in the development of business abroad. As a firm registered with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank, WB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as an independent consulting firm, we are eligible for selection to render consulting services for projects funded by these banks. Also covered are the projects funded by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) of Taiwan. Through the years, Sinotech has worked in Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Fiji, Georgia, Sao Tome and Principe, Swaziland, and mainland China. To date, they have successfully completed some 240 overseas assignments.
Sinotech has been awarded an international certificate of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. They have always committed theirselves to their corporate culture of "top-quality, high-efficiency professionalism" to fulfill the client’s requirements of reliable services.
They have 18 functional departments, giving in-house support to a full range of services. They always, depending on the mission, organize project teams with competent experts and engineers to complete the assignment, ensuring that the work performed conforms to recognized professional standards.
