Skillshare International is an international volunteering and development organisation.  It works in partnership with communities in Africa and Asia to reduce poverty, injustice and inequality and to further economic and social development. 

It does this by sharing and developing skills and ideas, facilitating organisational and social change and building awareness of development issues: 

-International volunteering. Its development workers, short-term consultants and other volunteers share their skills with local colleagues in its partner organisations.
-Itsleadership development programme enhances the long-term strategic leadership capability of its partner organisations.
-It works with partners to access funding and develop strategies for financial sustainability. 
-Networking enables our partners to share information, learning and best practice with other organisations.
-Participating in policy and advocacy activities enables our partners to advocate for positive change.
-It works with medical students and health professionals to build awareness of development issues.
