Founded in 1977, the SOMETEL Company initiated the electronics trade in Tunisia by introducing to the market a whole range of electronic components and measuring devices. In 1989, the Société Nouvelle d'Electronique (SNE), specialized in measuring and testing devices and electronic equipment, was created in parallel. In October 1996, the companies SNE and SOMETEL merged to become SNE-SOMETEL.
