About

The Society

SAL, acronym of Società Acqua Lodigiana, is a public company and is owned by all the Local Authorities of the province of Lodi.

With its 60 member municipalities, SAL is the sole manager chosen by the Lodi Area Office (formerly AATO) for the supply of the Integrated Water Service in the Lodi area. SAL preserves the water resources of the territory and manages the entire water cycle: from the collection and purification to the supply of drinking water for domestic and industrial use; from the collection of sewage drains, to their purification before being reintroduced into surface water courses.
Water is our raison d'etre: competence, quality and safety are the prerogatives that we place every day at the service of users for the treatment and supply of an indispensable good for life. Thanks to systematic quality controls and accurate laboratory analyzes, the water that flows from the Lodi's taps is healthy, guaranteed and costs very little.

SAL is environmentally friendly and supports the food use of tap water which reduces the use and consumption of plastic bottles, with a consequent reduction in the costs of disposal and recycling of plastic materials for the benefit of the entire community.
