Privatized in December 2000, EDM-SA has 1,600 workers and managed to increase the service rate from 8% to 15% in electricity while initiating a Sustainable Development program (creation of green spaces, promotion of school sports) in the corporate citizenship vision.

To ensure the continuous improvement of its services and performances, the Company has initiated a quality approach. In December 2008, had the ISO 9001 V. 2000 certification on the Production and Distribution of Electricity as well as the Customer Management on the Grand BAMAKO sites.
