A research team along with grassroots worker together founded in 1996 under TRUST. The major research project was supported by MEFW, Govt of India(1988-91).

The team analyzed the situations of PTGs in Santal Pargana and decided to Initiate actions on it-organising them, awareness on exploitative mechanisms, govt programmes, local opportunities.

Since 1992-1995 acted with out any structured organizational shape.

In 1996 PESA implemented, acted to strengthened the local gram sabhas. Since 1996 initiated actions on child and women development.
