Souk At-tanmia represents the biggest mobilization of stakeholders working for the employment promotion in Tunisia through entrepreneurship support. This program, launched in 2012 for the first time, is structured as a Partnership involving almost twenty stakeholders of development business, public and private institutions, as well as civil and academic society. Thanks to this diversity, Souk At-tanmia can offer an integrated support that combines financing (in the form of donations) and support (in the form of training, coaching, market access services and networking). The Partnership also aims to stimulate the development of a more effective ecosystem and to promote the entrepreneurship culture among young people in the country. The synergy among stakeholders makes of Souk At-tanmia a different program.
A pilot edition of the program was launched in July 2012 and was followed by a second edition in April 2014, and a third edition in March 2017.
