Since its inception in 2001, SOUTH SAHARAN has become a viable platform for many young women and men to learn about and explore their femininity and masculinity in a non-destructive, mutually reinforcing and respectful manner that empowers them to exploit their full citizenship.
SSDO recognizes that full citizenship can only be achieved through economic, political and social independence so they provide the platform for growth and improvement. They also provide women with a set of financial services and tools to strengthen their skills and maximize their income and minimize their interest in anti-social activities.
