About

The Regional Bank for the Development of the Extreme South - BRDE was founded on June 15, 1961 by the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná, with the objective of making the South of Brazil prosper. Since then, BRDE has been a partner that supports and monitors the development of projects to increase the competitiveness of projects of all sizes in the region.

A reference in long-term financing for investments, capable of transforming projects into realities. It is a public financial development institution, controlled by the three southern states and has financial and administrative autonomy.

BRDE is subject to monitoring and control by the Court of Auditors, as well as the supervision of the Central Bank of Brazil. It currently has 463 employees in the three states. Its administrative-organizational structure is determined by Internal Regulations established by the Council for Development and Southern Integration - CODESUL and based on Constitutive Acts approved by the Legislative Assemblies of the Member States.

With administrative headquarters and agency in the city of Porto Alegre (RS), it also has branches in Florianópolis (SC) and Curitiba (PR), as well as a representative office in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and a publicity space in Campo Grande ( MS). It also has advertising spaces in 10 cities in the South Region.
