The firm was created in 2007 by Matthieu Wemaëre, Attorney at Law, who has more than 20 years of experience in the field of environmental law, including 6 years as a lawyer and negotiator in the General Directorate of Environment of the European Commission.

Before setting up his own firm, Matthieu Wemaëre was Partner and Director of the Brussels office of the law firm Huglo Lepage and Associés Conseil, French lawyers specializing in environmental law, whose Principal Partner is Ms. Corinne Lepage, former French Minister of the Environment.
