With the aim of becoming a leading network & systems integration  solutions provider, SLTS has deployed a comprehensive portfolio of products and services. They are leveraging the availability of a broad range of expertise to build an engineering capability that will be unmatched in the industry.

History Of SLTS

Sri Lanka Telecom (Services) Limited (SLTS) was formed on 26th April, 1993 as a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT). Its board of directors comprise of Chairman and senior officers of SLT as well as representatives from the Ministries of Telecommunications and Finance.

SLTS has an authorized share capital of Rs 25 million started life as an engineering services company. From its inception it has provided project management and consultancy services to SLT and it has acted as the project implementer for the largest ever telecom infrastructure project undertaken in the country, the 150k Telecom Development Project with an investment of $ 220 million. This included implementing state of the art technology in telephone exchanges and microwave and optical fiber cable transmission networks throughout the country.

Recently the company has revised its mission to become an independent profit center and explore new markets leveraging the core product offerings of SLT. Its business presently includes value added Internet services; customer premises structured cabling systems and provision of total networking solutions to corporate customers. They promote the data networking infrastructure of SLT, the best available in the country. The company has a pool of professionals on its staff blending extensive experience in the telecom industry with new talent in Internet/multimedia technologies. It is also able to draw upon the extensive resources of SLT when required.
