The Committee was formed in accordance with the Resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the structure of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic” dated April 13, 2016 No. 439-VI

The Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the Issues of the State Committee of Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic” dated July 15, 2016 No. 402 approved the Regulation on the Committee.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 26, 2017 UP No. 178, Abaskanov Nurbek Esenkanovich was appointed to the position of the Chairman of the Committee.

In its activities, the Committee is guided mainly by the following regulatory legal acts:

  • Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”;
  • The Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the postal savings system”;
  • The Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Natural Monopolies in the Kyrgyz Republic”;
