Operate public policies

The official rural extension, as a mechanism instituted by the State Constitution, linked to the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply, has the institutional function of implementing public policies with the rural population, giving priority to the least favored populations in action. The operation of public policies presupposes the execution of programs instituted by the federal, state and municipal governments with the objective of promoting sustainable rural development, creating conditions to improve the quality of life of the rural population, expanding the income of farmers and the environmental preservation of rural areas. It is the duty of the official rural extension to publicize the official programs aimed at the rural environment, as well as to make every effort to facilitate the access of the rural population to the expected benefits,

Guide farmers in production systems
