STELLA Consulting was founded in 1993 by two senior environmental and management consulting professionals with more than 30 years of combined experience in managing international projects in the environmental field, in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. To serve their clients more effectively, they have established three office locations in Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France and near Washington, DC, United States.

STELLA works closely with policy makers, businesses and local communities to promote environmental protection and sustainable development. They bring people and ideas together to develop sound environmental programmes, and they build national and local capabilities to implement such programmes.

STELLA Consulting is an environmental engineering and consultancy company established in 1993. They help their clients to assess environment and development issues, formulate environment and development strategies, and design and implement specific actions. They provide services for private and public sector clients worldwide, including government agencies, funding institutions, private investors and industry.
