Tourism

They specialise in tourism development processes that lever meaningful participation of poor or marginalized people into the formal tourism economy, and promote models that forge partnerships between community organisations, the established private sector and government.

Rural enterprise development

They support rural enterprise development through the development of resource utilisation plans, feasibility studies, business plans and strategies as well as designing functional public/private/community business models. They have developed niche expertise with respect to the provision of above services for projects located in environmentally sensitive areas or within or adjoining protected areas.  

Health

Financial solutions and services for the health sector

SDC provides turn-key ­financial design and management services to donor and government funded health programmes, with a particular focus on HIV AIDS, Malaria and TB. Services include development of work plans and log frames, costing of strategies and operational plans, preparation of proposal budgets and funding analysis.  

Donor programme support

They have substantial experience in ­financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, programme management and capacity building in the non-pro­fit sector, speci­fically with programmatic responses to the HIV-AIDs pandemic in Southern Africa. Specifically this includes the design of financial management systems which provide for donor requirements and specifications.
