Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN)

SAN is an international, non-profit association of organizations working for the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable human development. Its vision of the world is one where agricultural activity contributes to biodiversity conservation and sustainable livelihoods. SAN is a coalition of leading conservation groups in America, Africa, Asia, and Europe that supports the adoption of best agricultural practices. SAN also connects farmers with responsible consumers through the Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM seal.

SAN promotes productive and efficient agricultural systems, biodiversity conservation and sustainable human development through the application of the Sustainable Agriculture Standards, which include social, environmental and productive aspects.
