Sustainable Development Strategies Group (SDSG) is a collaborative group of researchers, consultants and other experts whose goal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of sustainable development concepts in solving real, practical problems at the local, regional, national and international levels. SDSG is both a research organization and a practical source of policy, institutional, and capacity building advice.
SDSG professionals:
● Help to deepen the understanding of concepts of sustainable development, and their concrete application in the use and conservation of natural resources, on local, regional, national and global scales.
● Work with governments, companies, communities and others to develop solutions and build capacity for wise use and conservation of natural resources. We use interdisciplinary, participative methods in which our partner organizations develop and implement the strategies, and SDSG delivers expertise as requested in managing conflict, building dialogue, and sharing experience.
● Work in many countries, cultures and languages, and bring unsurpassed understanding of sustainable development ideas and how to apply them for positive, broadly supported solutions in mining and mineral resources, oil and gas, timber, energy and other natural resource industries.
