The Cooperative of Sustainable Family Agriculture Based on Solidary Economy - COPABASE, founded on February 23, 2008, in the municipality of Arinos, Northwest of Minas Gerais, is a promoter in the articulation of actions focused on Sustainable Regional Development and that it saw in the structuring of interest groups in different areas of the production chains, a need for organization and autonomy for family farmers and extractivists. The main objective of Copabase is to strengthen, benefit and commercialize products from family farming and extractivism from Cerrado fruits, generate income and empowerment, value flavors and make places and preserve the Cerrado. Its socio-environmental principles or commitment, ethics, zeal for the image of the cooperative, quality of services and production, unity, respect, solidarity.
