Their mission is basically to contribute to a well-functioning labor market. An important task for us is also to equip those who are far from the labor market. In this way, they help prevent exclusion and increase employment.

Their assignment also includes checking that employers who receive employment support comply with the existing regulations. They also check that those who are registered as unemployed comply with the regulations, so that they can receive the right support from, among others, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

They are where their customers are - on the web, via telephone, chat and video meetings as well as in their offices from north to south. All their services are free of charge.

They work on behalf of the Riksdag and the Government
