Swiss guardianship is provided by the "Leading House" designated by the State Secretariat for Research and Education (SER), namely Tropical Institute Public and Health (Swiss Tropical and Public Health) in Basel, whose Director is Prof. Juerg Utzinger.
In Ivory Coast, guardianship is ensured by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS).
