TFI TAB Food Investments (TFI) is a leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operator in Turkey and China, with more than 2.500 restaurants and about 60,000 employees. Its 27 years of experience enables TFI to set operating standards and shape the consumer trends in the markets in which it operates.
As a consumer-focused company, TFI has built an organization that reflects the needs of its customers. The management philosophy is not a “one size fits all” approach. Through its operational and marketing expertise, TFI successfully employs two different QSR business models in Turkey and China.
TFI’s operational expertise is reflected in its food supply chain, data analytics and distribution management capabilities, learned via the “Ecosystem” businesses, through which TFI controls the bulk of its supply chain in Turkey.

QSR Turkey:
Operations in Turkey under TAB Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (TAB Gıda)
TAB Gıda led the Turkish QSR sector for more than 10 years with over 1,000 Quick Service Restaurants including Burger King, Sbarro, Popeyes, Arby’s and Usta Dönerci.
QSR China:
Operations in China under Burger King Holdings Ltd. (BK China)
As a crucial part of its growth strategy, TFI began investing in China in 2012. Since then, BK China has opened more than 1200 restaurants in 150+ cities. In July 2019, Restaurant Brands International granted TFI the exclusive master-franchise rights for Popeyes. In 2020, Popeyes China opened its first restaurant in Shanghai.
