TAS is a national non-profit making and Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to empowering, protecting and supporting People With Albinism (PWA).

The organization was established in 1978 by PWA and registered in 1980, where since then it has grown to having leaderships in 25 regions and to nearly all districts in Tanzania Mainland. It is a membership organization with 12,000 registered members geared toward serving over 12,000 PWAand their families across Tanzania.
