Team Consult was founded in 1986 by Dr. Bernd Schubert and Ernst-Heinrich.

Areas of Work:

-Support for conceptual development and operationalization of complex development programs and strategies
-Implementation of project management and evaluation measures
-Management consulting and organizational development for projects and non-profit organizations
-Moderation of planning workshops, conferences and large group events
-Concept development and consulting in the areas of poverty reduction (eg PRSP)  and social protection
-Support for local Agenda 21 processes
-Training in project management, monitoring and evaluation, teamwork,  organizational development and change management, conflict management, moderation and visualization

Team Consult's philosophy and operation is based on following basic principles:

-Counseling can change perspectives, open up additional possibilities for action and  give impetus to change - but not "sell" ready-made solutions.
-Vocational training is applied in a practice-oriented way, is based on the potentials and  past experiences of the participants, increases their competency competences and  contributes to the quality improvement of their work.
-Conceptual development, training and consulting are most effective when they  complement each other and are conceived as an overall system.
-Their products are only to be planned and created together with the clients.
-When dealing with complex problems, interdisciplinary and systematically working  teams are more effective than isolated consultants or consultants.

-Changes and development are a continuous process - this applies to the systems of  their clients as well as to themselves .
