The Technological Center for Information and Communication Foundation (CTIC) was established on December 5, 2003 as an organization of a private foundational nature, of a cultural, social and charitable-teaching nature, without profit motive.

The CTIC Foundation is a non-profit private organization, constituted by a group of firms from the Information and Communication Technologies field, and the Government of the Principality of Asturias.
