Telecomunicacoes De Mocambique
Empresa Telecomunicações de Moçambique was created, as a state-owned company, by Decree 05/81, of 10 June, in a context of centralized planning economy, from the separation of the Post Office, Telegraphs and Telephones (CTT).
In 1992, the company was transformed into a public company (EP), through decree 23/92, of 10 September, in a context of market economy. This transformation had the effect of greater administrative, financial and asset autonomy on the part of the company.
In 2002, TDM became a private company, SARL, under Decree 47/2002, of 26 December, with 80% of the capital represented by the State and 20% reserved for GTT (managers, technicians and workers) .
In 2009, TDM is transformed into a public limited company (TDM, SA), according to the Bulletin of the Republic III Series - Number 13, of April 3, 2009. Under this legal instrument, the company's Articles of Association were revised in order to adjust new commercial legislation.
