Temple Micah is a teaching, caring and doing congregation. They are at once traditional and innovative, combining a good helping of time-honored ritual with groundbreaking, new approaches to Jewish life. They put a premium on creativity, experimentation and learning. They urge every member to join us in a meaningful religious journey and to build personal connections through active participation in the life of our community.
They have fun. They delight in delicious food, and raise money by preparing gourmet meals for each other. Exquisite music adds beauty and emotional richness to their services, and their youth and adult choirs allow many congregants to join in the creation of something extraordinary.
His dream is that the community of Temple Micah be a carrier and creator of an inspiring message about God, faith, humanity and the Jewish People. To be part of our community should be to know in a visceral way that they are all created in God’s image.
He dreams that walking into Micah will be an experience unlike any other – that somehow they know when they are at Micah that there is such a thing as the sacred, that our good deeds count for something and that being Jewish matters because of the wisdom, passion and ethical vision they offer to the world.
