What is Tera Renaissance
The certified NPO Terra Renaissance was established in October 2001 with the aim of "realizing a society (world peace) where all lives can be safely lived".
The name of group name Terra is "Latin" meaning "Earth", the Renaissance in English has the meaning of "regeneration, reconstruction", meaning that "Terra Renaissance" means "to resurrect or to revive".
They believe that everyone wants to live in a peaceful society, to live with people they like, and each "wish" to be there. However, busyness has been overwhelming in everyday life, it is the present situation that no one can remember it and has forgotten it. That is why if they could give a "trigger" to remind each other's "wish" by evoking and digging up each heart through issues such as landmine problems and child soldiers .... If you do so, people originally wish for peace, so the world should naturally become peaceful. With such thought, "Terra Renaissance" was born.
Terra · Renaissance Challenges
They address four issues of "land mines", "small weapons", "child soldiers", "peace education" by simultaneously conducting international cooperation at the work site and at the same time conducting enlightenment and proposal activities in Japan, They are aiming to solve the problem.
