Food for Development
Their Food for Development Office works with a variety of partners to initiate, promote and support school milk and school feeding programmes across the globe. Together with their sister company DeLaval, they work with agricultural and dairy development projects addressing the entire food value chain from “cow to consumer”.
They work with partners in promoting the development of alternative products to milk for use in school feeding programmes in areas where milk is not available.
They believe that the best way to promote sustainable social and economic development is by building strong partnerships between the private and public sector. They work with governments, NGOs, international organisations, development agencies and industry at local and global level.
Their Food for Development Office consists of a core team based in Stockholm, Asia and Sub-Sahara Africa, and a network of colleagues spread around the world. There are Food for Development representatives at most of Tetra Pak’s market companies around the world.
