Minmetals Ersanye Construction Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale enterprise group whose main businesses are construction, real estate development, mining, and infrastructure investment and construction. The company was established in 1953 and successively subordinated to the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation, State Nonferrous Metals Industry Bureau, and Hunan Provincial SASAC. In July 2006, it became an important backbone member company of China Minmetals Corporation. The company used to be named "China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation Third Construction Company", "China Nonferrous Metals Industry 23rd Metallurgical Construction Company", "Twenty-Three Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd." and so on. In April 2013, it was renamed "Minmetals 23 Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd." with the approval of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
