The Armored Group, LLC (TAG) began as an armored vehicle manufacturer in 1992. Their focus was exclusively on the Cash-In-Transit (CIT) business, with the simple goal of providing each client with the highest level of security. They maintain the flexibility that ensures each of their customer’s needs would be met individually. Within a short period, they established themselves as the leading builder of U.S. armored Cash-In-Transit vehicles.

Moving forward with their efforts, the company’s focus shifted and expanded to providing TAG armored vehicles to two other distinct markets. The first was law enforcement with SWAT, police and tactical vehicle manufacturing. The second was comprised of the high-end passenger vehicles and SUVs for private and corporate clients. Today, TAG has grown to become one of the largest full-line commercial armored truck suppliers in the country and continues to set the standard for customization, reliability, and protection
