The George Institute for Global Health
About
Five billion people have no reliable access to essential health care. Heart attack and stroke are the world’s leading cause of death and in the next decade 100 million people will die from chronic diseases before they reach 60, while another 20 million people will die from road injuries.
Change healthcare and you change the world
The George Institute for Global Health is a health and medical research institute whose mission is to improve the health of millions of people worldwide. With projects in more than 50 countries, they have raised over 500 million dollars for global health research since 1999.
