The three pillars of KSCF are Outreach & Engagement, Direct Action, and Policy & Training. While the pillars inform each other, KSCF-India specializes in direct action and KSCF-US focuses on outreach and engagement. Policy and training is the domain of both entities. Kailash Satyarthi serves as the Global Chairperson. The Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation’s Global Advisory Board is comprised of strategic partners, leaders from the private, public, and NGO sectors, and subject matter experts in a variety of areas.
KSCF believes the only way to solve the problem of child exploitation is through a holistic, multi-dimensional approach of prevention, protection and policy prioritization. The strategic work areas of the Foundation are:
Prevention: awareness building and outreach
Protection: raid, rescue and rehabilitation work
Policy Prioritization: share lessons learned, encourage child-oriented development policies at the local community, national and international level and engage the private sector
