The Movement for Community-Led Development

The Movement for Community-Led Development

About

The Movement for Community-led Development was launched on the day the SDGs were adopted. “Community-led Development” (CLD) is a fairly new umbrella term that describes the process of working together to create and achieve locally owned visions and goals. CLD is a step-by-step process based on deep human principles. They start with women and build on local strengths to achieve systemic change as opposed to running short-term projects. The Hunger Project is the secretariat of the Movement.
