THE STORY
Commitment is not an empty word for Saïd M'Roumbaba , better known as Soprano as an icon of Marseille hip hop. The idea of helping people in difficulty has always been a driving force for the rapper from the Comoros archipelago.
This is how the idea of the Soprano Foundation sprang up in 2015 , which finally saw the light of day in 2018. While traveling in the Comoros, his colleagues Djamal Ahamada and Léad Iboura then drew up an inventory of fixtures in the local villages. The report is alarming: health conditions, education system and infrastructures suffer from a truly worrying lack of means.
Because education and health are the basis of all development, the Soprano Foundation begins its charitable missions by collecting clothing for orphanages. More prosaically, the transport of sick and deceased people poses a problem… The foundation then buys an ambulance for the village of Mkazi in order to make up for this lack.
