Thetis is active in the development and management of projects and innovative technological applications in the following fields: Environmental and Territory; Civil Engineering, Energy and Plants; ITS and Embadded Integrated; Modelling and Forecast Systems; Construction Management; and European Union and R&D.

Thetis spa provides services to a wide range of local, national and international clients in different countries like, for example, China and India. It operates from Venice Arsenal, for which it deals with restructuring and economic regeneration.

The company has built up its skills on the field through over a decade of work safeguarding the delicate Venetian lagoon ecosystem.

Established in 1993, it has a capital of 11 million euros and counts both private and public companies amongst its members. Thetis has a turnover of around 27 million euros and employs a highly qualified staff of 150.

Around 9,5% of profits are invested in R&D. Each year, 60% of the staff is involved in training.

Environmental and Territorial Engineering

Thetis offers consultancy and design services, as well as sampling and laboratory analyses.

It works for national and foreign clients, both public and private.

• Preparation of proposals in response to invitations.

 

Construction Supervision

Thetis works as a consultant, planner and works manager.

It provides turnkey services for local and national clients, both public and private, operating mainly in historical urban and waterfront areas.

Intelligent Transport Systems

Thetis works as consultant, planner and supplier of turnkey systems for local, national and international clients, both public and private.

• shipping logistics (Vessel Traffic Management and Information Systems).

 

Civil Engineering and Building Systems

Thetis works as a consultant and designer services providing "turnkey" for local and national clients, both public and private, operating mainly in urban areas and abandoned industrial areas.

Modeling and Forecast Systems

The Centre develops and manages:

• Command and control center for the management of environmental systems;
• Forecast systems and high waters in the Upper Adriatic into the lagoon of Venice;
