THOMPSON CONSULTANTS, INC. WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1974.
THEIR BASIS FOR CREATING A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS WAS TO DEVELOP A PRACTICE FOCUSING ON HIGHLY TECHNICAL ENGINEERING. SPECIFICALLY, THEY SUPPORT THE HEALTHCARE, LIFE SCIENCES, ACADEMIC, INSTITUTIONAL AND COMMERCIAL MARKETS.
In 1974, Bob Thompson and four associates created a corporation “for the purpose of engaging in consulting engineering.” Since then, TCI has maintained a constant process of evolution and growth that their clients have come to rely upon. Throughout the years, their core competency has been focused on critical space system designs. That core competency has brought us to deliver high level healthcare, life sciences and central plant projects for clients. While they appreciate the successes attained over the past forty years, they realize, that in order for Bob Thompson’s vision to continue to succeed, they must maintain that process of growth and renewal while at the same time expanding their horizons to meet today’s challenges and demands.
When Thompson Consultants, Inc. was established in 1974, their basis for creating a successful business was to develop an engineering practice which focuses on highly technical buildings. Specifically, they support the healthcare, life science, academic, institutional and commercial markets. Their engineering craft has been developed from a careful combination of applied engineering principles, strong project management and client interface skills, and diligent quality control combined with on the job applied knowledge. This has resulted in a client base which approaches 100% repeat business. In many cases, they become their clients’ in-house experts to handle most, if not all, of the ongoing renovations that are needed to keep their clients in the forefront of their industry.
Thompson Consultants Inc, provides Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering Consulting. They offer a full array of services to help their clients with the planning, design and construction of new facilities as well as in renovating existing spaces. They also provide engineering services to help their clients assess their existing facilities to identify cost saving opportunities, troubleshoot systems and compare various solutions.
